Chris Barnard – Managing Director

Chris and Lisa Barnard set up and incorporated The Training Experts.co.uk in April 2009 as an additional trading arm of P-tek Development Solutions Ltd, which was incorporated in April 2003. The Training Experts ethos is to provide innovative, high-impact, high-quality training and business solutions that assist organisations to develop the full potential of their people. The past 14 years has seen Chris working for some of the most successful insurance companies and insurance brokers in the country.

After a very successful career as a musician in the armed forces for 19 years, he started his second career in sales and customer service selling life insurance and pensions then moving into the motor insurance industry, where he held various management and operational management positions in both training and customer service environments.

Chris has always had a passion for helping people to 'Reach Their Full Potential' whether that means delivering the training solution personally, or sourcing the right development intervention via one of the many Training Experts, associates and suppliers he has access to. He says “I strongly believe that a company's most important asset is the people in it. Continuously developing your workforce is a must, and by neglecting to do so can lead to a business struggling to meet its goals and its talented people looking for more rewarding opportunities elsewhere.
